The most useful thing here measures rest, not usage. Someone can use their whole allowance and still go eight months without a break if it all lands at Christmas. Use it to start a conversation with someone, never to rank anyone.
Everything is for one leave year. Once there’s more than one with leave in it, select the year at the top to choose another.
Time Between Breaks
Section titled “Time Between Breaks”The average stretch team members work between breaks, and how those stretches spread out, from Under 1 month to 6 months or more.
- A break is approved leave of two working days or more.
- Bookings with only non-working days between them, like a Friday and the Monday after, count as one break.
- Sick and compassionate leave don’t count as a break, and don’t reset the clock either.
- The stretch someone is in right now counts too, so the team member who hasn’t had a break yet isn’t hidden.
For one team member’s figures, open them from Team. See A team member’s page.
Breaks Through the Year
Section titled “Breaks Through the Year”The same breaks, one row per team role across the leave year. A green block is when anyone in the role was on a break, deeper the more of them were off at once, and lighter for breaks still to come. A line through the gaps shows when nobody in the role had one, with how long, and a dashed line runs from the last break to today. Hover or tap any part to see what it is.
- Busiest Month: the month with the most team members off. If months tie, the one with more days booked.
- Annual Leave Used: how much of the team’s Annual Leave has been taken, as a percentage. Team members on an unlimited allowance are left out.
- Avg Request Length.
- Avg Remaining Allowance.
- Days Booked and Team Members Off, month by month, each bar split into its leave types in their own colours. Hover or tap a part to see the type and its figure. Someone off on two types in a month counts once in Team Members Off, under the one they had more days of.
- Cancellation Reasons: why booked leave was given back. A cancellation without a reason shows as “No reason given”.
- Leave activity: a square for every day, darker when more of the team was off.
Shown once you have rooms.
- Room use: how busy each room has been, with half days counted as half. It’s measured against the days each room opens, from the day it was added, so a room open two days a week can still reach 100%.
- Most rota use: the five team members who booked the most desks.
- Most cancellations: the five team members who gave up the most desks themselves. Desks freed because their leave was approved, or cleared by an org admin, don’t count, so nobody ranks here for taking time off.
Moments
Section titled “Moments”- Total Moments: birthdays your team shares, work anniversaries and company milestones this leave year.
- Longest serving: the five team members who’ve been with you longest, from their start dates.
