Your status and working weekPro
On a computer, your status sits in your name card at the foot of the sidebar. Folke works it out from your leave, your desk bookings and your usual week, so there’s nothing to update day to day.
What it says
Section titled “What it says”It follows the clock, so it’s right whenever someone looks:
- “Home · 9:00 - 17:00” or “Remote · 9:00 - 17:00” during your hours.
- “Working · 9:00 - 17:00” if you haven’t set your working week yet.
- “Office · UK · 9:00 - 17:00” on a day you’ve booked a desk.
- “Not in yet · from 9am” before your day starts.
- “Off · back tomorrow at 9am” once your hours are over, or on a day you don’t work.
- “On annual leave”, or whichever leave you’re on.
After your hours it reads Off, so nobody looks like they’re still working at 7pm.
How it’s worked out
Section titled “How it’s worked out”The most specific thing wins, in this order:
- Approved leave. A whole day off reads “On annual leave”, or whichever leave it is. Half a day off leaves the other half as a working one: a morning off reads “Not in yet” until the afternoon starts, and an afternoon off reads Off once the morning ends.
- A closure that day.
- A day you don’t work.
- A desk you’ve booked on the rota.
- Your working week.
- Your organisation’s usual hours.
Set your working week
Section titled “Set your working week”- Select your status in the sidebar. On a phone, tap your photo and choose Working week.
- For each day you work, set Start, Finish and Where: Home or Remote.
- To copy your first day to the rest, select Apply Mon to all (it names whichever day comes first).
- Select Save week.
It repeats every week. The days listed are your working days, which an org admin sets for you. Unless they’ve changed them, that’s Monday to Friday.
Your organisation decides how far your hours can move from its own, and the window says so, for example “Hours are fixed at 09:00 to 17:00.”
There’s no Office option. You’re in the office on the days you book a desk, and a desk booked in the coming week shows that day as the office, locked. Once the day has passed, it goes back to your usual place.
Who sees it
Section titled “Who sees it”Org admins and team managers see Around today on their dashboard: how many team members are working, with a window listing everyone’s status by team role, like “60% in · 40% off · 6 of 10 working”. Anyone who approves leave can also hover over the name of someone whose leave they approve to see where they are today. Everyone else sees only their own status.
When you’re on leave, the type is named, like “On sick leave”, just as it is on the team calendar.
