MomentsPro

Moments lists the birthdays, work anniversaries and company milestones coming up. Celebrating each other is part of a good working year.

It covers your whole organisation, even if your team calendar only shows some of it.

Moments looks a year ahead, grouped into Recently, Today, This week, Next week and This month, then by month.

A moment in the next two weeks counts down, like “In 3 days” or “Tomorrow”. On the day it says “Today”, or “Happy Birthday”. Once a date has passed it stays under Recently for a week, so you can still catch it if you were away.

Select the smiley under a moment and pick one of five emoji: 🎉 ❤️ 🥳 👏 🎂. Select yours again to take it back. Hover over a reaction to see who reacted.

Reactions are open for a week either side of the date. They belong to that year, so last year’s don’t come back round.

Only the day and month are shown, never the year. Your birthday comes from the date of birth on your profile.

To keep it to yourself, turn off Show my birthday (day and month only) to teammates in Settings > Profile. It’s then left out of Moments, calendar feeds, team emails and Slack. You still get your own happy birthday email.

These count from the start date an org admin sets on your profile, beginning with your first full year, for example “3 years at Acme”.

Yearly dates like the day your organisation was founded, counted from the first one. Org admins add them under Dates as a moment. See Organisation dates.

One-off events, like a team day, go on the team calendar instead.

On your birthday or work anniversary, Folke sends you a note. Your teammates get a heads-up, so they can say something. You can turn any of these off under Settings > Notifications, in Moments.
